Hotel is older/more dated than expected and there’s no lift to the room if you are staying higher floors. Hotel breakfast option average but service is good. I booked massage service at a specific time and later was told slots are not available, they mentioned to send masseuse up to the room but was not transparent on pricing. Sound proofing was weak and woken up by fireworks and sound nearby. Staff was helpful. Overall, this is probably the most decent hotel around this area but not a 5 star standard in my opinion.
Clean and comfortable room with very good beds, warm quilts and a choice of pillows.
The hot springs were great and the service staff excellent. There are more than one hot spring pools.
Breakfast was very good with a very large selection of foods. The standard was very high.
The only thing which we felt wasn’t great was the noise of children screaming all over the resort and the incessant fireworks until around 10pm. That is not the hotel’s fault, but their guests. I’m not sure what could be done to improve this, as it affects all guests.
I would stay here again though, for sure. The proximity to Xiling Snow Mountain (20 minutes by car), the comfortable bed and the excellent breakfast are all a big plus!
